The maintenance has been completed successfully. Some SFTP jobs for 10am were delayed until approximately 10.30am.

Engineers are restarting some services as a follow-up to the weekend's connectivity issues for one of the servers used for bespoke processes, to move services away from affected equipment. No interruption is planned to normal Maxemail services, although some client users may see delays in accessing the interface.

SMS cannot be sent

Post-Mortem

SMS sends have been stable since the issue was resolved last week. This was due to an account issue within the provider, which altered the send volume profile for our gateway account, having the knock-on effect of disallowing further sends. This has now been completely reverted.

SMS sends continue to function normally, so we are marking the issue as resolved. However, we are still closely monitoring this for any further issues, and will post more information on the root cause once we have it.

We are continuing to push the SMS gateway provider for a resolution or workaround to the SMS sending failure.

We continue to wait for a resolution from the SMS gateway so that we can resume the stuck SMS campaigns. We apologise for this continued delay to SMS services.

Update

We are still waiting for the SMS gateway to push a resolution for this ongoing problem. Any SMS campaigns which are currently stuck in 'error' state in Maxemail will be manually restarted by Maxemail Support staff once this is resolved; there is no need to create duplicate campaigns.

Investigating

We are aware of an issue sending SMS campaigns, which is preventing sending SMS messages. There is a problem sending the message data to the SMS gateway, and we are working with the provider to resolve this.
