Issue generating email reports

  • Resolved

The issue inserting images into PDF reports is resolved. We are sorry for the interruption. Although the certificate change was anticipated, this edge case wasn't possible to see until the previous root certificate expired.

  • In Progress

Engineers have isolated the expired certificate and this has resolved the false errors showing in Email Check. PDF reports are still affected, so we are continuing to investigate.

  • Investigating

We are currently seeing issues generating email reports. This includes PDFs containing previews and heatmaps. You may also see Email Check erroneously reports it's unable to access transformed images.

Engineers have traced this to a certificate issue linked to the widely-reported root certificate which expired today, IdentTrust DST Root CA X3.

There is no direct impact to the use of Maxemail by our users or your campaign recipients. Xtremepush already took steps to make sure that our public certificates were ready for this change, and you'll notice that your Maxemail browser tabs show a valid 'padlock' icon. The impact is only to Maxemail loading resources internally.

An update will be posted once the issue is resolved.
