Maxemail service was resumed after a critical database server failure. This required engineers to execute our BC failover process to redundant hardware.
Any messages queued before the outage would have been successfully sent; message delivery was resumed once services were restarted.
Hardware and data integrity checks will be carried out as required on the affected server.
